Assistant Professor- Anatomy

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching:

  • Conduct lectures and practical sessions in anatomy for undergraduate medical students.
  • Assist in laboratory activities, including cadaver dissections and anatomical demonstrations.
  • Support the development of course content and ensure it aligns with the curriculum.

• Research:

  • Engage in anatomical research and contribute to the department's academic output.
  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and collaborate on research projects.
  • Seek research grants and funding opportunities.

• Student Support:

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to students in their academic and research endeavors.
  • Assist in evaluating students' performance through exams, practical assessments, and coursework.

• Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with faculty from other departments to enhance integrated teaching of anatomy in clinical settings.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to academic discussions.

• Administrative Duties:

  • Assist in the administration of departmental activities, including scheduling and student assessments.
  • Participate in departmental events, workshops, and seminars.

Qualifications:

• Educational Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
  • MD in Anatomy or equivalent.

• Experience:

  • At least 1–2 years of teaching experience in anatomy or a related field, ideally within a medical school.
  • Experience in research and publication is preferred.
