OPD Services: Conduct Out-Patient Department (OPD) clinics, providing consultation and specialized care to the general public.
Emergency & ICU Duty: Provide emergency medical coverage and supervise critical care management for unstable patients.
Procedures: Perform and teach bedside clinical procedures such as pleural tapping, lumbar puncture, and bone marrow aspiration.
Clinical Bedside Teaching: Lead "ward rounds" where students learn to take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop differential diagnoses.
Theory Lectures: Deliver evidence-based lectures on systemic medicine, from cardiology to nephrology.
Small Group Discussions: Conduct tutorials and case-based learning (CBL) sessions to bridge theory and clinical practice.
Scholarly Activity: Initiate clinical research trials or epidemiological studies within the hospital setting.
Mentorship: Supervise Post-Graduate (MD) residents in their thesis work and clinical progress.
Accreditation: Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in maintaining standards for NMC (National Medical Commission) inspections and NABH/NABL accreditation.
