Consultant Cardiac Anesthesia

Role requirements:

• Administer anesthesia for cardiac surgeries including CABG, valve replacements, and transplants.

• Conduct pre-op assessments and develop patient-specific anesthesia plans.

• Monitor patient vitals and manage intraoperative anesthetic care.

• Provide post-op pain management in ICU and step-down units.

• Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, perfusionists, and ICU teams.

• Perform and interpret TEE (Transesophageal Echocardiography) when required.

• Maintain accurate records and adhere to safety and documentation protocols.

• Participate in on-call duties, code responses, and continuous medical education.
