We are seeking an efficient, high-volume Cataract and Anterior Segment Surgeon to lead our high-demand surgical team. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional microsurgical skills, with independent mastery over modern cataract extraction techniques. They will be responsible for delivering superior refractive outcomes, managing complex anterior segment cases, and providing comprehensive pre- and post-operative care while maintaining high patient satisfaction.
Perform high-volume, premium Phacoemulsification surgeries independently with minimal complications.
Proficiently implant and calculate advanced technology intraocular lenses (IOLs), including Toric, Multifocal, Extended Depth of Focus (EDOF), and Trifocal IOLs.
Manage challenging cataract cases, such as small pupils, subluxated cataracts, mature/hyper-mature cataracts, and pseudoexfoliation.
Handle intraoperative complications efficiently, including posterior capsular ruptures (PCR) and anterior vitrectomies if required.
Optional but preferred: Perform modern refractive surgeries (LASIK, PRK, SMILE) and premium anterior segment procedures (Pterygium with autograft, collagen cross-linking).
Conduct thorough pre-operative evaluations and patient screenings to determine surgical candidacy.
Master premium biometry and IOL power calculations using advanced diagnostic platforms (e.g., IOLMaster, modern tomographers) to eliminate refractive surprises.
Diagnose and manage general ophthalmic conditions, referring posterior segment or specialized pediatric cases to internal sub-specialists when necessary.
Educate and counsel patients and their families regarding surgical options, explicitly explaining the lifestyle benefits of premium vs. standard IOL options.
Maintain excellent clinical documentation, electronic medical records (EMR), and ensure adherence to strict infection control and safety protocols in the Operation Theater (OT).
