Consultant - Gastroenterology

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Consultations: Conduct outpatient and inpatient evaluations for patients with gastrointestinal and hepatic disorders.

• Procedures: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including Gastroscopy (EGD), Colonoscopy, and Polypectomies.

• Treatment Planning: Develop comprehensive management plans for chronic conditions such as IBD, IBS, Celiac disease, and chronic liver disease.

• Collaboration: Coordinate with primary care physicians, surgeons, and nutritionists to ensure integrated patient care.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate, timely electronic medical records (EMR) in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Medical Degree (MD/DO) from an accredited institution.

• Specialization: Completion of a residency in Internal Medicine followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology.

• Licensure: Board certification (or eligibility) and a valid state medical license.
