The ideal candidate will combine advanced clinical diagnostic expertise with exceptional microsurgical skills to manage high-stakes, vision-threatening conditions, delivering comprehensive care to patients with complex posterior segment pathologies.

Manage medical retinal conditions, including Diabetic Retinopathy (DR), Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD), Retinal Vein Occlusions (RVO), and central serous chorioretinopathy.
Perform high-precision outpatient procedures, including retinal laser photocoagulation (pan-retinal, focal, and barrier lasers) and photodynamic therapy.
Administer intravitreal injection therapy protocols (anti-VEGF therapies and corticosteroid implants).
Perform advanced, micro-incision vitrectomy surgery (MIVS - 23G, 25G, or 27G) for complex conditions such as Rhegmatogenous and Tractional Retinal Detachments, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, and vitreous hemorrhages.
Manage severe ocular trauma, including intraocular foreign body (IOFB) removal and posterior segment reconstruction.
Effectively address anterior segment surgical complications, including dropped nucleus management and scleral-fixated intraocular lens (SFIOL) implantations.
Screen, diagnose, and treat high-risk newborns for Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) using laser photocoagulation or anti-VEGF therapy when required.
Provide urgent, high-priority care for acute retinal emergencies (e.g., fresh retinal tears, giant retinal tears, or endophthalmitis).
Counsel patients and their families regarding long-term visual prognoses, chronic disease maintenance, and post-operative positioning requirements (e.g., gas/oil tamponade compliance).
