The Nursing Superintendent is the overall administrative and operational leader of the nursing department. This role is responsible for directing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating all nursing care services across the Labour Room, Postnatal Ward, Gynecology, IVF Centre, NICU and Advanced Maternal Care units. The Nursing Superintendent ensures that patient care meets the highest quality standards, maintains staff discipline and adequate skill-mix — including specialized obstetric and neonatal nursing competencies — manages nursing rosters, and oversees compliance with hospital accreditations (NABH/JCI) and infection control protocols.
