Staff Nurse - Eye Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and procedures

• Prepare patients for eye surgeries (cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, etc.)

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care

• Administer prescribed eye drops and medications

• Monitor patient vital signs before and after procedures

• Maintain sterilization and cleanliness of OT (Operation Theatre)

• Educate patients about eye care and post-surgery instructions

• Maintain patient records and documentation

• Handle ophthalmic equipment carefully

• Follow hospital safety and infection control protocols

Qualification:

• GNM / B.Sc Nursing

• Registered under Gujarat Nursing Councel (Mandatory) 

• Experience in ophthalmology (preferred but not mandatory)
